Teaching the Holocaust in Missouri
Level 2 – Second-Time Participants
Presented by the Missouri Holocaust Education and Awareness Commission
The Missouri Holocaust Education and Awareness Commission is offering a Level 2 professional training workshop on the Holocaust for Missouri educators who have already participated in the Commission’s Level 1 workshop.
This Level 2 training on teaching the Holocaust will explore the role propaganda and education played in the Nazi rise to power. On day two of this workshop, participants will visit the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum and hear a survivor testimony.

Hotel and meals for this workshop are state-funded with no cost to participants. A stipend will be awarded to cover travel and additional expenses.
Space is limited to the first 27 registrants. All registrants will be notified accordingly of their status. Those not confirmed will be notified of future workshops.
Agenda
Sunday, March 9 – Arrive at your leisure any time after 3:00 p.m. Enjoy complimentary evening drinks and snacks at the hotel’s 5:30 Kickback beginning at 5:30 p.m. There is no programming scheduled for this evening.
Monday, March 10 – Programming will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.
Tuesday, March 11 – After checking out of the hotel, we will depart at 8:15 a.m. for a day of programming at the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum beginning at 9:00 a.m. Everyone will use their own mode of transportation. We will conclude our workshop at the Museum at approximately 3:30 p.m.
